Multiple website apache log files comparison tool

I work at a company that host multiple websites on the same dedicated server. Each web site has log files that I need to compare.

We use tools like weblog experts to read logs an prepare reports, but it is usefull on each site. Do anybody know a tool to process and compare logs from multiple websites? Web need visits comparison, bandwidth, refererers, etc.

Thanks in advance Pablo

Apache session visitor reporting with time, geo-location, referral and IP address

I'm looking for software that I can run against Apache's logs and retrieve a per-session record of each visitor's IP/referral/geo-location along with the time and date.(browser would be good too) Preferably so I can get it into csv format so I can sort and filter it easily.

I've been testing out goaccess but I'm not sure it's right for my application. It seems more designed for an overview and averages, rather than a full visitor log.

There must be many applications out there that do what I need, but I'm having trouble finding the right fit.

regex .htaccess multiple URL suffixes on the same line to ban spam referral on analytics

Lately spam on analytics are higher then ever, I came across some good ways to remove most of it using together .htaccess and custom segment.

For the .htaccess part i am putting together a file with all the spam domain I can find that redirects the spam traffic to it's source.

here is an example

# semalt
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http://([^.]+\.)*semalt\.com [NC]
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.semalt.com [R=301,L]

I will make it public once i am finished but I came across a problem i would like to treat same domain with different URL suffixes on the same line

for example ilovevitaly.com and www.ilovevitaly.ru

i am pretty bad with regex stuff could I write something like

RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http://([^.]+\.)*semalt\(.com | .ru) [NC]

thanks for your help

Website self-referral

Google Analytics is showing my own root domain is the referral for a large portion of my website's traffic.

So, mywebsite.com is showing as the referrer for www.mywebsite.com.

I have tried adding a referral exclusion within Analytics with no success. I have cleaned my .htaccess which also hasn't been successful

.htaccess code

RewriteEngine On
Options +FollowSymLinks

# Redirects mywebsite/uk/anypage to mywebsite.eu/anypage
RewriteRule ^uk/(.*)$ /$1 [NC,R=302,NE,L]

# Redirect 404 to index
ErrorDocument 404 /

# Use www version
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^mywebsite.eu [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mywebsite.eu/$1 [L,R=301,NC]

This is what it looks like in Analytics:

I've put a lot of time into trying to find the cause so any suggestions, .htaccess related or otherwise, are very welcome
